This arrived in the mail and made my day on Saturday:

Gorgeous, huh?  Its handmade by Deb Donnelly Designs.   I found Deb through Pam, who has one of her amazing knitting bags.  Deb is located in Maine and sells her handbags, knitting bags and pouches (which would make great knitting tool kits) on Etsy.

This bag has quickly become my favorite handbag.  I love the combination of fabrics.  The colors are perfect and work so well together.  The inside is loaded with pockets, of varying sizes – perfect for staying organized.  Its very sturdy and well made.  I love the details that Deb incorporated – the pretty combination of fabrics that line the inside, the washable vinyl inside, the way she narrowed the shoulder strap in the middle so that it hugs your shoulder (its stays on!).  Its a perfect size too – just big enough for all my essentials, without being huge.  Love the outside pockets – one in the front for keys and Palm Pilot and two cell phone sized on the sides.

So wonderful!  Thank you Deb!  There’s a knitting bag in my future…
