Playing with fiber…

Lady Raven Madd

A while back Paula helped me out with some things – little things, like womaning my booth at Fiber Twist and preventing me from killing someone keeping me sane through my divorce.  Paula has been there with me through thick and thin for the few years.  There has long been a skein of undyed Jasmine in the studio with her name on it.  All it needed was a colorway.  A recent evening of spinning together resulted in an idea, which came to fruition during my last dye day.  At last, its done – a little thank you gift that feels completely insufficient for all that my dear friend has done for me and brought to my life.  It seemed only appropriate that I name this colorway for her.

I give you Lady Raven Madd:

Its a shaded solid, with deep wine tones, hints of black and some lighter shades to add depth .  Its for Paula, with much love and gratitude.

    The colorway is gorgeous!

  2. And it’s SO SO pretty, too! What a fitting tribute!

  3. Awwww….you made me cry. Love you babe. And I’ll wear it proudly. (I’m thinking I may need some sock yarn in my namesake)

  4. You hit the colorway right on the head! Perfect match for our LRM!
